As part of educational-cum-motivational tours organised by SSG, 50 cadets of Class VIII visited Shillong from 25 to 28 Mar 26. The primary objective of the tour was to provide the cadets with exposure to military life and inspire them to join Indian Armed Forces. During the tour, the cadets visited Gorkha Training Centre (GTC), Assam Regimental Centre (ARC) and Eastern Air Command, which gave them valuable insight into the functioning, training, and lifestyle of the Indian Armed Forces. The cadets also visited various places of tourist interest viz. Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. The cadets were escorted by Mr S M Rahman, Ms M F Ahmed and Hav C P Thapa.
