Three girl cadets of SSG, namely Cadet Kh Deepika Singha (Class X), Cadet Bornabha Dutta (Class IX) and Cadet Nayana Roy (Class IX) have brought laurels to the school by receiving the ‘Vidyakiran Appreciation Award’, instituted by ‘ADORE’, a youth organisation, to encourage girl students with outstanding all-round achievements. The awardees were interviewed by the Vidyakiran Selection Committee for the award sponsored by Garg Foundation. Col D K Vishwakarma, Principal, formally presented the awards to the cadets on 05 Mar 2026. The award comprised a certificate and a cash prize of ₹1,000 for each of the recipients. Additionally, SSG was honoured with a memento by ‘ADORE’ in recognition of its valuable contribution towards nurturing young and promising cadets.
