SSG U-17 Boys’ Volleyball team brought laurels to the school by emerging as the champion of the CBSE Cluster-I (U-17 Boys) Volleyball Tournament 2026, hosted by Kaziranga English Academy, Guwahati from 04 to 06 Aug 26. Cadet Rajesh Kumar Murmu (Class X) of SSG was awarded the ‘Best Player’s Trophy (U-17 Boys)’. A total of 17 teams from different schools of the North Easter region participated in the tournament. Along with SSG U-17 Boys’ Volleyball team, the U-17 Boys’ team of the school also participated in the tournament. The teams were escorted by Mr M K Singh, PGT and Mr Maheswar Rabha, Volleyball Coach.
