Two contingents of SSG, comprising boy and girl cadets in the Arms and the Non-Arms categories respectively, participated in the Independence Day Parade held at District Headquarters, Goalpara, on 15 Aug 26. Both the contingents brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performances. The boys’ contingent, led by Cadet Rajnish Haloi of Class XI, secured the first position in the Arms category, while the girls’ contingent, led by Cadet Ushma Debbarma of Class XI, secured the second position in the Non-Arms category. The entire SSG fraternity extends its heartiest congratulations to the cadets of both of the contingents on remarkable achievements. The school takes immense pride in their dedication, discipline and splendid display of ceremonial excellence, ably guided and trained by the school’s NCC staff.
