SSG organised a comprehensive ten-day orientation programme on Service Selection Board (SSB) for the cadets of Class XI from 17 to 26 Mar 2026. The programme was conducted with the aim of familiarising the cadets with various stages of SSB and equipping them with the requisite skills and confidence to face the same.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Col D K Vishwakarma, the Principal of the school. The sessions were conducted by distinguished resource persons and former Interviewing Officers, namely Grp Capt A K Singh (Retd), Grp Capt Varun Gupta (Retd) and Col Sudhir Verma (Retd), who trained the cadets with their deep insight into the SSB selection process.
During the course of the programme, the cadets were provided intensive training and practical exposure to various components of SSB, including GTO, Personal Interview techniques, psychological tests viz. PPDT, TAT, SRT, WAT etc. The sessions were highly interactive and focused on enhancing confidence among the cadets and preparing them for future challenges in their pursuit of joining the Armed Forces.
