SSG organised a motivational talk featuring distinguished Ex-SSGian, Mr Rajnesh Gogoi, Managing Director, Assam Petrochemicals Ltd. on 25 Jun 26. He was accompanied by two other esteemed SSGians, Mr Mainul Haque Choudhury, Advocate, Guwahati High court and Mr Dipak Tumung, Engineer and Treasurer, OBASSG. Col D K Vishwakarma, Principal, felicitated the alumni with traditional Assamese ‘gamosa’ and school memento.
Addressing the cadets, Mr Rajnesh Gogoi nostalgically recounted his school days and acknowledged the pivotal role the institution played in shaping his professional journey. Drawing from his own experiences, Mr Gogoi motivated the cadets, emphasising the importance of a focused approach towards securing a career in the Armed Forces. Mr Gogoi also graced the Closing Ceremony of the Inter-House Volleyball Competition 2026 as the Chief Guest, held later in the afternoon.
The Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr Rajnesh Gogoi for his inspiring address and also thanked all the members of OBASSG for their unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions towards the continued growth, progress and welfare of their alma mater.
